I have been an editorial photographer for more than 20 years, creating dynamic
images to meet the illustration needs of a wide range of clients around the
world.
I provide photographs for magazines, newspapers, web sites, public
relations, interactive presentations, and many other media. I work on
assignment and also license the use of existing stock photographs.
My work centers on Israel, the Middle East, spirituality, religion and
the natural world. For more details, see my
stock photo site.

How much do you charge?
For assignment work, I charge a creative fee that is based on a combination
of factors, including the time the job will take and the usage the client
requires. Expenses are additional.
For stock photographs, fees are based on circulation, the size of a print
run, or the length of time a photo remains on a web page. Multiple usage
also affects the cost.
What about copyright?
I retain copyright and ownership of all images unless there is a written
agreement to the contrary. It is rarely in the interest of a publisher to
acquire the copyright, since the right to use a photograph in limited ways
is much less expensive.
I need a picture right away. Can you send a
digital image?
Yes. I can send you a low-resolution digital image for your inspection, or a
higher resolution image for publication.
